My fanship for Jason Bateman lay dormant for approximately 20 years or so, back from his Silver Spoons days when I was an awkward pre-teen, but it has come back to life with a vengeance!!!! I was startled and shocked and almost didn’t recognize him when I first happened upon Arrested Development, and then I took a few deep breaths and instantly rekindled my long ago fanship for Jason. As you can see by my Jason Bateman fanclub ID card,
I had a huge crush on him way back then, and I joined his fanclub and was sent the great pictures you see below with one even sighed by him, with love!!!!!!!!! I had these put away for years and years and after rummaging through a bunch of crap I was enraptured to find them and to finally have a public place to show them off! Now that Jason is back in action , I am delighted with his presence, his witty sarcasm, his business-man like
and even casual attire, his attractive brown eyes, his adorable hair style. And so, out of this starlust was born the idea to create a fansite, to exercise in a positive way my support, love and admiration for Jason Bateman. Hey guys, my name is Sarah, I’m 23 years old, and I’m(still) working on finishing up my BA in Philosophy at Stony Brook University(for all you A.D. fans, yes , studying Philosophy is just about as practical as studying cartography and Native American tribal ceremonies—but the comparison ends there. I mean, my mom lets me have unlimited juice and everything. Which is such a blessing, because I love juice). I’m looking forward to officially “cutting the cord” next fall and starting a long and lucrative career as a professional graduate student, pursuing a doctorate in Ethics. When not contemplating the nature of the universe, Jason Bateman, or Arrested Development, I enjoy singing and acting as well(my face is actually in Sweet Home Alabama, starring Reese Witherspoon, although you do need to watch it in slow motion with a magnifying glass to track me down).So, why make this Jason Bateman fansite? I was a big fan of Jason’s when he was on The Hogan Family(what little girl didn’t love David Hogan?) and have been so happy to see him flourish once again on Arrested Development. I think he’s a great actor, and thought he deserved a website—I was tired of having to do Google searches for his tv schedules and articles, and thought it would be great to be able to find all that stuff in one place. Unfortunately, I’m involved in putting it together, so I’m still doing the Google searches, but at least his fans can find it all in one place. I’ve never done a website before, so this has been a very special little project for me, and it’s been so fun doing it with another huge Jason Bateman and A.D. fan. I’ve had a blast collaborating with Samia, and I hope somebody gets something out of it—enjoy! -
